The Center on Thursday told the final Court it has moved 91 lakh migrant workers till date, further adding that more than 80 % of individuals personnel are from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
“This is definitely an unparalleled crisis and we’re taking unparalleled measures,” Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told a legal court throughout a hearing on migrant labourers’ situation among Covid-19 lockdown.
The very best court had earlier issued notices towards the Center and also the condition governments, saying there has been “inadequacies and certain lapses” on their own part in working with the migrant workers’ situation.
Media reports, a legal court order stated, have been “continuously showing the unfortunate and miserable conditions of migrant labourers” walking-feet and cycles from lengthy distances.
