Ashok Selvan is basking in the prosperity of his latest film, My Dear Kadavule, which hit the theatres on Valentine’s (Feb 14). The show, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, switched out to become a huge hit one of the audience, especially youngsters.
The actor has finalised his next film and it has confirmed exactly the same on his Instagram story. He’ll be joining hands with actress Niharika Konidela, niece of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Their film is going to be helmed by debutant Swathini, an old assistant to director Suseenthiran.
Created by Kenanya Films, the untitled film goes on floors through the finish of the year. The manufacturers are actually finalising all of those other cast and crew.
Telugu actress Niharika made her Tamil debut with Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, by which she shared screen space with Vijay Sethupathi and Gautham Karthik. She then continued to perform a handful of Telugu films.
Ashok Selvan forayed into production this season with My Dear Kadavule and scored a success. IndiaToday.in reviewer Janani K rated the show 3 from 5 stars and authored, “My Dear Kadavule is really a film that should be celebrated for a way charge figures are sketched. Nowhere within the film would be the figures of Gautham, Anu or Meera (Vani Bhojan) judged. Despite marriage, Gautham feels Meera is needed make his existence better. They know it’s dishonest, but owns up and handles the problem inside a mature way.”
The actor has films for example Nenjamellam Kaadhal, Redrum, Vezham, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham and Senorita under different stages of production.
