A civil legal rights law practice filed a federal class action lawsuit suit on Tuesday against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis yet others for transporting around 50 immigrants from Dallas, Texas, to Martha’s Winery, without shelter or sources in position.

DeSantis spokesperson Taryn Fenske released an announcement Tuesday night accusing activists to be “opportunistic” and taking advantage of illegal immigrants for political theater.” Added Fenske: “If these activists spent even a small fraction of this effort and time in the border, possibly some accountability could be introduced towards the Biden administration’s reckless border policies that lure illegal immigrants to create harmful and frequently lethal journeys through Guatemala and set their lives at the disposal of cartels and Coyotes.”
