Anucharan’s encouraging first appearance Kirumi offered us the belief that he is probably the new crop of filmmakers we require to take into consideration. Recently, his Suzhal – which he co-instructed with Bramma – reaffirmed that idea. Barely a couple weeks following basking in the success of the series, Anucharan’s Panni Kutty strikes displays. And that is certainly not great news.
A wannabe funny-of-errors, this Anucharan directorial – expected to launch in 2019 – looks outdated with its juvenile plan plus an archaic list of jokes which make you want to grab the hair. Furnished with a battalion of funny stars including Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Ramar, Thanga Durai and Singam Puli, Panni Kutty attempts to enjoy to their strengths, as Anucharan takes the success.
A piglet operates amok splitting two organizations in search of it. A minimum of this is apparently the thought on paper. If that were the case, Panni Kutty needed a meaty script, bigger budget and a better set of actors.
Each and every “joke” you get is really a half-joke. You wait for real “joke” to area at some point however it turned into a unsatisfying and long wait. I noticed scattered laughs from the crew and cast with that I caught the display. Possibly they may be obliged to laugh. I am just not.
