Microsoft Capture Activision Blizzard for $68 billion
Microsoft hasn’t been shy about obtaining new gaming studios recently, getting bought Zenimax Media inside a $7.5 billion this past year. However, that deal now appears like peanuts as the organization just announced the purchase of Activision Blizzard.
Microsoft revealed inside a press statement it would acquire Activision Blizzard inside a cash deal worth an enormous $68.7 billion. This causes it to be the greatest offer their history, dwarfing 2016’s purchase of LinkedIn for $26.2 billion. The Redmond company adds that whenever the offer closes, it’ll function as the third greatest gaming company by revenue, behind Tencent and The new sony.
Activision Blizzard hosts franchises for example Cod, Chocolate Crush, Diablo, Overwatch, Starcraft, and Warcraft.
