Section 144 imposed in Mumbai till May 17th Corona virus lockdown, no movement of persons allowed from 8AM to 7PM, as per Mumbai Police
Pranaya Ashok, Deputy Commissioner pf Police (Operational), Greater Mumbai, issued an order, prohibiting presence or movement of one or more persons in public places. He also prohibited the movement of any vehicle carrying such persons.
Mumbai. Mumbai Police has promulgated an order that prohibits the movement of one or more persons for nonessential activities from 8AM to 7PM till the lockdown for corona virus COVID-19 continues up to May 17th, 2020. This order was issued under section 144 of the CrPC.
This order was issued by Pranaya Ashok, who is the DCP Operations at Greater Mumbai. He strictly prohibited any movement of one or more than one persons or any vehicle carrying such persons from 8AM to 7PM till May 17th of this year.
