College and Professional Football Career
In the fall of 2012, Trevor Lawrence was a high schooler attending Farragut High School in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was not highly recruited and many college football programs did not even have him on their radar. However, one program that saw potential in Lawrence was Clemson University.
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney was impressed with Lawrence’s athleticism and ability to make plays with his feet as well as his arm. In the spring of 2013, Clemson offered Lawrence a scholarship and he accepted it.
