Ms. Bali has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. She is also a Chevening Scholar and has attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Bali has spent the majority of her career in the food and beverage industry, holding senior leadership positions at some of the world’s largest companies, including Nestle and Cadbury Schweppes. She also served as the Managing Director of Britannia Industries Limited, one of India’s leading food companies. In her most recent role, she was the CEO of GTL Limited, a global provider of telecommunications services.
Bali has a strong commitment to corporate governance and social responsibility. She is a member of the National Advisory Council on Climate Change and Sustainable Development in India and a trustee of The Energy Foundation India. Ms. Bali is the Former Group President and Chief Executive Officer of Britannia Industries Limited, a leading food company in India. Prior to that, she was the Managing Director of Cadbury India Limited from March 2003 until December 2006. Ms. Bali has also worked with Nestle SA in Switzerland and Malaysia, as well as Unilever Plc in the United Kingdom, India and Sri Lanka in various leadership positions.
Ms. Bali is currently a Non-Executive Director of Diageo plc, a global alcoholic beverage company, and Hindustan Unilever Limited, one of India’s largest consumer goods companies. She is also a member of the boards of several not-for-profit organizations including Pratham Books, Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation and Sammaan Foundation. Ms. Bali holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
